竹荪品种多属中温型夏秋出荪,少见冬现蕾的报道.根据江西省和长江流域秋爽、冬寒、春雨梅雨多湿度高及马鞍形温度变化的特点,作者拟订此试验,充分利用有利的生态条件和保温措施,达到翌年出3~4批荪而高产的目的.试验地处赣东北北纬29°17′~29°35′,东经117°22′~118°11′.年平均降水量1821mm,集中在春夏季.年平均相对湿度为83%.年平均温度16.7℃,从8月至翌年7月,月平均温度分别为27.7、23.8、17.7、11.9、6.6、4.6、6.3、11.1、16.8、21.1、24.6、28.1℃,表现春暖秋凉爽利于竹荪生育,冬寒夏热则对出荪不理想.为提早二个月在春季出荪,就必须改革栽培法,本试验采用了5项措施,初步取得显著效果.
