1993年6月7日世界著名数学家陈省身教授应师大校长方福康之邀,访问了北京师范大学,并做了题为“李氏球几何”的学术报告。我国著名数学家吴文俊教授、陆启铿教授与北师大数学系师生二百多人参加了这次报告会。会后,陈省身教授和吴文俊教授为北京师大数学系题词:本刊特刊登如下,以飨读者。
On June 7, 1993, world renowned mathematician Professor Chen Sanshen, at the invitation of Fang Fukang, principal of the division, visited Beijing Normal University and gave an academic report entitled “Lee’s Ball Geometry.” Professor Wu Wenjun, Professor Lu Qikeng, famous mathematicians in our country and more than 200 teachers and students of Mathematics Department of Beijing Normal University participated in the conference.
