Someone you contact with her, there is her desire to read. Is her voice like a temperament, or is her character very personal? The first feeling that Meiniang gave me was that, even though she was seventy-five. In the communication with Mei Niang, I read the “Mei Niang Fiction Essays” she gave me (Beijing Publishing House, 1997 edition); Zhang Quan, Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, “Eight Years of Beijing Literature during the Occupation Period” Introducing Meiniang’s essay, so I got to talk to the “rightist” intellectual who was buried after the liberation of the woman writer who was one of the “Nanling Beimei” in the 1940s.
