1982年在我县城关公社农场含盐量为0.3％的碱地上进行了棉花地膜覆盖试验。试验地共3亩,2.8亩覆膜,覆盖度80％;0.2亩不覆,为对照。品种黑山棉,4月25日播种。碱地地膜覆盖的棉花出苗提前9天,出苗率提高45％左右,现蕾提前22天,开花提前19天,吐絮提前9天;株高增加14厘米,第一果节着生高度提高3.4厘米,果枝增加2条;其他性状也有改善,产量大幅度提高
