1993年11月退休之后,我旅居美国首都华盛顿近两年。在美期间,除了帮女儿、女婿作些家务事之外,还写了一些评论文章,以此驳斥李登辉的“台独”言行,揭露美国反华势力妄图分裂中国领土台湾的阴谋。还利用节假日陪同我爱人、女儿到美国一些著名城市和风景区旅游、观光。到了纽约、波斯顿、费城、巴尔的摩;游览了世界第一大瀑布——尼亚加拉瀑布;还到了西部的洛杉矶和圣地亚哥。这里我谈谈在美国感受较深的见闻:
After my retirement in November 1993, I lived in Washington, the capital of the United States for nearly two years. During his stay in the United States, apart from helping his daughter and son-in-law as part of their housework, they also wrote some commentary to refute Lee Teng-hui’s words and deeds of “Taiwan’s independence,” exposing U.S. anti-China forces’ attempt to split Taiwan on Taiwan territory. Also use the holidays to accompany my wife and daughter to some famous American cities and scenic tourism and sightseeing. Arrived in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore; visited the world’s largest waterfall - Niagara Falls; also to the west of Los Angeles and San Diego.
