二○○二年一月二十四日,《世界文学》编辑部召开了新世纪的第一次编委会。外国文学研究所所长黄宝生、《世界文学》主编余中先、与会的各位编委分别就形势和现状,以及在新的世纪新的一年里如何继续保持《世界文学》的高品位作了发言。新任主编余中先代表编辑部向编委会汇报了近年来的工作情况。他认为,《世界文学》在当前的文化氛围中,不应随着世俗趣味的改变而改变自身原来的办刊方针,而应坚信;在中国这样一个人 January 24, 2002, “World Literature” editorial department held the first editorial board of the new century.
