每年圣诞节即将到来时,很多孩子们都开始期盼圣诞老人的礼物。但是做个圣诞老人一点都不简单,很多圣诞老人会寻求专业的职业培训,于是在欧美,就出现了一些圣诞老人学校。查尔斯·霍华德圣诞老人学校坐落在美国密歇根州的米德兰市。这是一所专门培养圣诞老人的学校,大约有200名圣诞老头和圣诞老太太在这里学习,他们大多来自美国、加拿大、丹麦或挪威。为了成为一个合格的圣诞老人,他们需要掌握制作木头玩具,为孩子们讲故事,驾驶雪橇,喂养驯鹿等各项技能,而其中最为重要的是传递圣诞精神。
As Christmas approaches, many children begin to look forward to Santa’s gifts. But being a Santa Claus is not easy at all. A lot of Santa Claus will seek professional vocational training, so in the United States and Europe, there are some Santa Claus schools. Charles Howard Santa Claus School is located in Midland, Michigan. This is a school dedicated to raising Santa Claus, with about 200 Santa Claus and Santa Claus studying here, mostly from the United States, Canada, Denmark or Norway. In order to be a qualified Santa Claus, they need to master the skills of making wooden toys, telling stories to children, driving sleighs, feeding reindeer, and most of all, the Christmas spirit.
