社会经济的现代化贯穿于资本主义产生、发展和社会主义确立、发展的全过程,是人类社会从传统的农业文明向现代工业文明转变的必然趋势。从内容上看,它是以科技为动力,以工业化为中心,以机器生产为标志,并引起经济结构、政治制度、生活方式、思想观念全方位变化的一场社会变革。中国社会经济的现代化进程自19世纪60年代开始,之后步履维艰,直至20世纪70年代末,中国社会经济的现代化进程才加快了迈进的步伐,取得了举世瞩目的成绩。
The socio-economic modernization runs through the entire process of the establishment and development of capitalism and the establishment and development of socialism. It is an inevitable trend in the transformation of human society from traditional agricultural civilization to modern industrial civilization. From the content point of view, it is based on science and technology as a driving force, industrialization as the center, and machine production as a symbol, which has aroused an all-round change in economic structure, political system, lifestyle, and ideas. The process of modernization of China’s social economy began in the 1960s and then became difficult. Until the end of the 1970s, the modernization of China’s social economy accelerated the pace of progress and achieved remarkable results.
