近几年来,江阴市在文明村镇创建活动中,实现了从“一二三家庭读书工程”到“一二三文明创建示范点”建设的跨越,把农村精神文明建设推上了新台阶。始于20世纪90年代中期的“一二三”(一顶书橱、二份报刊、三百册书籍)家庭读书工程,曾在全市范围内掀起了读书、看书、用书的热潮。这项“富脑袋”工程在提高农民的思想文化素质和科学文明意识方面起到了很好的作用。近年来,江阴市又开始了“一二三文明创建示范点”建设
