On April 24, 1984, an appraisal meeting of “Automatic Mapping System for Interpreting Seismic Data” was held in Juxian County, Hebei Province by Science and Technology Department of Geophysical Bureau of Ministry of Petroleum. 46 representatives from relevant units of the country attended the meeting.
