为把204国道建设成为国家级文明样板路,从2001年开始,青岛市公路局把204国道文明样板路创建工作列入当年公路工作的重中之重,按照省厅公路局的统一部署,根据交通部文明样板路的标准,以改善通行能力、提高行业规范化管理水平为目标,以完善GBM工程和路域环境综合治理为重点,以公路绿化美化为特色,全面开展204国道文明样板路建设。
