小学是学生学习语言文字的开始,而语文是一门综合性学科,语文教学不仅仅要求教师教会学生识字读书,更要求教导学生文字当中蕴含的人情与艺术,文化与道德,甚至于人终其一生都受用的启蒙思想。这就要求小学语文教师在培养学生语言能力的同时具备一定的文学素养,并懂得教学的方法性和艺术性,从而将这种文学素养转化为语文教学的精华。因此,可以说文学素养的高低决定了语文教学水平的高低。
