我们钓鱼时,常见鲫鱼小心翼翼地吸进饵钩,发现有异物后,立即停食吐钩或扬长而去,再见到了这样的饵钩便不张口,产生了明显的条件反射后果。2008年深秋,我把用蚯蚓钓到的几尾小鱼养在水桶里试验,头三天喂蚯蚓鱼都不张口,第四天小麦穗鱼开始进食,鲫鱼见蚯蚓在嘴边蠕动仍然拒食,第五天依然,第六天早上起来,发现鲫鱼漂浮在水面上,但两尾麦穗鱼却相依为命,一直活到翌年一月底才死去。
