今年一季度,天津市外事部门和对外经贸部门一改往年淡季闲暇。元旦才过,马来西亚金狮集团、槟城成长楼发展公司、钢山集团就相继组团登门,随后有香港嘉里集团老板郭鹤年先生。2月,新加坡政府资政李光耀率工商团前来作客。3月,韩国总统金泳三视察在津建设的韩国工业团地。世界最大生产胰岛素和酶制剂的厂家丹麦诺和诺德公司拟投资2亿美元。著名的瑞士雀巢公司投资6000万美元,总部在美国的通用电气(GE),霍尼维尔等跨国公司也来寻找机会。有关部门统计,仅各国副部长级官员以上所率团组就有16个,人数370多人。一季度内来津团组共119个,平均一天一个还多,大大超过往年同期水平。

In the first quarter, a total of 119 teams from Tianjin were enrolled, an average of more than one day, much higher than the same period in previous years.
