We will be amazed at our own wisdom to recognize our own limitations and to remedy its pitfalls by inventing a technology. A doctor in a remote village in Alaska met a seriously ill patient, but lacked the expertise to diagnose and prescribe it. So a hand-held computer terminal is plugged into a radio that will be contacted by satellites and computers thousands of miles away. This computer contains a huge intra-medical memory system and a program that mimics medical authorities for reasoning and experience. The computer is an expert in the Alaskan countryside or a health worker in any one place and can consult in time.
