Through the establishment of development model and the analysis of the results of the development plan, the author believes that the development of waterflooding in high-water-cut oilfields should include: timely shut-in, unsteady waterflooding and determination and development of remaining reserves. The process is predicted to reduce oil-to-water ratio by more than half in the Satafuye field within seven years and increase crude oil production by more than half.
