With the improvement of diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, epilepsy patients with increased social adaptability. Women with epilepsy can get married and have children. However, they are very much worried about whether taking anti-cancer drugs (AEDS) during pregnancy leads to fetal malformations, whether epilepsy can be passed on to their children or whether pregnancy will lead to an increase in seizures. In fact, the above fears are well-founded, as fetuses with epileptic women who take AEDS during pregnancy have much higher rates of infant distortions than those who did not use AEDS or did not have epilepsy [1]. Nonetheless, AEDS should continue to be administered throughout pregnancy because failure to control seizures during pregnancy can lead to status epilepticus that can lead to abortion and severe pain.
