本文论述以下四个问题:1)中国翻译的过去和现在;2)关于可译性和不可译性;3)翻译标准的争论;4)语言学是否有助于翻译问题的解决。翻译虽然很难说是一门科学,但在一定范围内或一定程度上,语言学可以加深对翻译问题的研究。
This article addresses the following four questions: 1) the past and present of Chinese translation; 2) the translatability and untranslatability; 3) the debate over translation standards; and 4) whether linguistics contribute to the solution of translation issues. Although it is hard to say that translation is a science, to a certain extent or to a certain extent, linguistics can deepen the study of translation problems.
