In order to explore the main factors that affect the accidental death of children under 5 years of age and provide feasible interventions for accidental death of children, retrospective investigation was made on the causes of accidental death of 39 children under 5 years old in the urban area in the recent 6 years. 1 Data sources and methods According to the 1993 to 1998 Hospital Health Branch by the city’s monitoring points reported under the age of 5 deaths of children survey data finishing
