1974年前后,在液压实践中出现了许多新型的轴用流体动力密封,这种密封适用于窄的密封腔,所需的轴向位置不比O形圈多。它通常由改良的聚四氟乙烯材料和一个压缩型橡胶圈组成。“聚四氟乙烯唇形密封”的特点是:在朝向高压侧有一尖锐刃口的唇部,而在这密封接触点的低压端外边,有一收敛的或平行的增压区。早期进行的试验表明,这种密封件具有良好的高压密封性能和很低的摩擦阻力。把这种密封件串装使用,经过长时间的试验表明为零泄漏。本文介绍了各种单个和串装的PTFE唇形密封及其试验结果。
A number of new hydrodynamic fluid seals have emerged in hydraulic practice around 1974, and are suitable for use in narrow sealed chambers and require no more axial positions than the O-rings. It usually consists of a modified polytetrafluoroethylene material and a compressed rubber ring. “Teflon lip seals” are characterized by a lip that has a sharp edge toward the high pressure side and a convergent or parallel supercharging zone outside the low pressure end of the seal contact. Early tests have shown that this seal has good high-pressure sealing performance and low frictional resistance. The use of such seals in series, after a long period of testing showed zero leakage. This article describes the various single and string PTFE lip seals and their test results.
