本研究旨在探讨磷对花旗松的响应。采用华盛顿州两种滨海土壤的若干土层作试验。为估测渍水条件下经常出现的枯落物与矿质土壤的复合影响,试验中采用了枯落物与矿质土层的混合物。温室试验结果与野外状况的关系在本试验中难以确定,因为已有证实滨海土壤上的植物对磷无响应的报道,不过滨海地区的磷肥田间试验是很有限的。
This study aimed to investigate the response of phosphorus to Douglas-fir. Several soils from two coastal waters of Washington State were tested. To assess the combined effects of litter and mineral soils often found under waterlogging conditions, a mixture of litter and mineralized soil was used. The relationship between the greenhouse test results and the field conditions was difficult to determine in this experiment because plants on coastal soils have been reported to be non-responsive to phosphorus, but field tests of phosphate fertilizer in the coastal areas are limited.
