《百喻经》说:往昔有夫妇两人,烘了三个大饼,作为晚餐。大饼烘就,夫妇二人各自吃尽名分下的一个饼后,还剩大饼一个,不便给谁独吃,于是互相约定,不许说话,谁若先说话,就莫吃饼!两人既然互相约好,便坐在家中,沉默不语。到了半夜,来了一个贼徒,到家偷窃东西,掠尽家中所有宝物。两人皆因有约在先,只关注大饼,谁也不愿出声。贼人眼见这家中人痴呆如此,胡来乱为,全不妨事,且觉得主妇静婉可人,便傍近妇人,作了些小小轻薄行为。 “Bai Yu Jing” said: In the past there were two couples, baking three pie, as a dinner.
