说起近代中国的早期博物馆,人们脑海中浮现出的第一个印象,无疑是由张謇创办的南通博物苑。南通博物苑位于江苏省南通城东南濠河之滨,由中国早期现代化的先驱、晚清状元张謇于1905年创办,是中国人自己建立的最早的博物馆。建成之初占地35亩,藏品分天产、历史、美术、教育四部分,主要陈列于南馆、北馆等展馆内,而大型文物标本则展示于室外。南通博物苑中广植花草树木,养殖珍禽鸟兽,与室内展品呼应,另有各种园林设施点缀其间,具有馆园结合的办馆理念。
Talking about the early modern museums in China, the first impression that emerged in people’s minds is undoubtedly the Nantong Museum founded by Zhang Jian. Nantong Museum is located in the bank of the Haohe River in southeastern Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. It was founded in 1905 by the pioneer of early modernization in China and was founded in 1905 by the late Qing dynasty champion. It is the earliest museum established by the Chinese themselves. At the beginning of the project, the project covers an area of 35 mu. The collection consists of natural products, history, art and education. It is mainly displayed in the South Pavilion and North Pavilion, while the large-scale cultural relic specimens are displayed outdoors. Nantong Museum of plants in the wide planting flowers and trees, breeding rare birds and animals, echoed with the indoor exhibits, and another dotted with a variety of garden facilities, with Museum Park Museum of the concept.
