湖南省岳阳县一中,是1978年新建的一所县办重点中学。由于县委重视,学校领导办学指导思想明确,学校办得很有特色。这所学校不去单纯追求升学率,不搞疲劳战术,而是排除各种干扰,坚持按教育规律办学,坚持全面发展方针,坚持面向全体学生。结果是校风好,校纪严明,教育质量高。全校745名学生中,三好学生就有107名。共青团员占学生总数的51.6%。该校79、80届高中毕业生考取大学、中专的占76.4%,录取在重点大学有125人。未能升学的毕业生,由于基础知识学得扎实,思想好,他们参军、参加生产劳动后,也受到各方面的重
One of Yueyang County, Hunan Province, is a newly established key county secondary school in 1978.
