美国著名科普作家阿西莫夫说:“科学始于好奇。”他对“好奇”的解释是:“不可遏止的求知的欲望”。求知的欲望,尽管各人不尽相同,因而有强弱之分,但可以说求知之心人皆有之。从童稚时代起,就产生了强烈的求知欲,小孩子的特点是好问:收音机为什么能唱歌能传声?录音机为什么能录音?电报为什么在千里万里之外能传讯息?照片为什么会把人像和自然风貌拍摄下来?问个不休。小孩子又无不喜欢听故事,听完一个,还不满足,希望大人不断地讲动人的故事。这都是好奇的开端,也是求知的萌芽。好奇的探求会引起对某一方面或某些方面的兴趣。鲁迅先生的故乡——浙江绍兴一带,盛行猜谜。这对孩子们有迷人的魅力。
