Editor’s Note The emergence of “Qu Yuan” was a major event in the Chinese literary world in the 1940s. A major miracle of the capital’s theater scene was a major battle with the Kuomintang reactionaries. At the crucial moment of the Anti-Japanese War, in the Kuomintang area, the revolutionaries used drama as a weapon to fight the Kuomintang reactionaries and achieved an all-win victory.
