岳阳县筻口镇是一个有近6万人口,4667hm2(7万亩)耕地的农业大镇。近年来,农业机械化作业水平明显提高,其中水稻机收率已达到了80％。全镇拥有各类农业机械3400余台套,农机总动力达到3.4万kw。特别是联合收割机,由2000年的4台发展到2002年的52台。为了帮助机手提高机车利用率和经济效益,2002年9月份,我们农机站在市、县农机主管部门的具体指导下,从全镇52台收割机中精心挑选出40台机车赴湖北省监利县参加跨区机收水稻,受到了监利县委县政府的充分肯定及当地群众的热烈欢迎和好评。这次跨区机收的面积达到2000hm2(3万亩),创收60万元。取得这一成效,主要得益于四个方面的工作。
