土地征用,是指国家为了社会公共利益的需要,依据法律规定的程序和批准权限批准,并依法给予农村集体经济组织及农民补偿后,将农民集体所有土地变为国有土地的行为。
Land acquisition refers to the state’s behavior of changing all the peasants’ collective-owned land into state-owned land after giving compensation to the rural collective economic organizations and peasants according to the procedures prescribed by law and the approval authority according to the needs of the public interest.
