牛津催化剂集团开发的以Velocys品牌营销的费-托微通道反应器技术,被选用来设计可能在美国建设的一套商业BTL装置。该提议中的BTL设施将建于美国俄勒冈州,由美国红岩生物燃料公司经营,将约170kt/a林业生物质转化为约1 100bbl/d(1bbl≈159L)液体运输燃料。目前,初步工程设计已经完成。预计详细工程设计将历时9个月。
The Fischer-Tropsch microchannel reactor technology, marketed by the Oxford Catalyst Group under the Velocys brand, was chosen to design a commercial BTL plant that could be built in the United States. The proposed BTL facility will be built in Oregon, U.S.A. and operated by Red Rock Biofuel Corporation to convert approximately 170 kt / a of forestry biomass to approximately 1,100 bbl / d (1bbl≈159 L) of liquid transportation fuel. At present, preliminary engineering has been completed. The detailed engineering design is expected to last nine months.
