今年『五一』国际劳动节,国务院在京隆重召开了全国劳动模范和先进工作者表彰大会,这是继一九九五年后国务院又一次表彰全国劳动模范和先进工作者,这是党和政府对全国亿万劳动群众的巨大鼓舞和亲切关怀。来自各条战线的全国劳动模范、先进工作者近三千人欢聚一堂,接受党和人民给予的崇高荣誉,我省有五十九人获此殊荣。面对西部大开发的历史机遇,作为经济欠发达的贵州,学习先进,崇尚实干,显得尤为重要。在西部大开发中贵州要再立新功,这是时代的要求,历史赋予的职责。
This year’s “May 1” International Labor Day and the State Council held a grand ceremony of honoring the national model workers and advanced workers in Beijing. This is the second time in 1995 that the State Council once again commended the national model workers and advanced workers. This is the party and government Great encouragement and cordial concern for hundreds of millions of working people across the country. Nearly 3,000 people from all walks of life in the national model workers and advanced workers came together to receive the lofty honor given by the party and the people. Fifty-nine people in our province have won this honor. Faced with the historic opportunity of the great development of the western region, as an underdeveloped Guizhou Province, it is particularly important to learn advanced and respect hard work. In the course of developing the western region, Guizhou will make new achievements again. This is a requirement of the times and a duty entrusted by history.
