Mr. Tao Menghe, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, member of the National People’s Congress and standing committee member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, died of acute post-cardiocerebral infarction after rescue treatment. He died in Shanghai on April 17, 1960, at the age of seventy-three year old.
