十二指肠溃疡夜间疼痛可能与夜间胃酸分泌增加有关。作者观察了一次口服组织胺H_2-拈抗剂Metiamide 400毫克对十二指肠溃疡病人夜间胃酸分泌的作用。13例十二指肠溃疡病人,均经X线检查诊断,年龄18～63岁,除1例有出血外,均有十二指肠溃疡的典型症状1～20年,5例有夜间疼痛。按预定的随机次序在相隔不到1周的时间内分别给予每个病人Metiamide 400毫克或安慰剂。病人于下午5时30分进食一清淡晚餐,下午9时30分插入鼻胃管,在30分钟内抽空胃液,然后从下午10时起收集胃液1小
Night pain of duodenal ulcer may be related to increased gastric acid secretion at night. The authors looked at the effect of an oral histamine H 2 -agonist, Metiamide 400 mg, on nocturnal gastric acid secretion in patients with duodenal ulcer. 13 cases of duodenal ulcer patients were diagnosed by X-ray examination, aged 18 to 63 years, with the exception of 1 case of bleeding, typical symptoms of duodenal ulcer 1 to 20 years, 5 cases of night pain. Metiamide 400 mg or placebo was given to each patient in less than a week intervals in a predetermined randomized order. The patient eats a light dinner at 5.30 p.m. and the nasogastric tube is inserted at 9.30 p.m. and the gastric juice is evacuated within 30 minutes and the gastric juice is collected 1 p.m. from 10 p.m.
