1月6—7日,全国水利工作会议在广西南宁隆重召开。中共中央政治局委员、国务院副总理回良玉出席会议并发表重要讲话。讲话从全局和战略高度,对2008年的水利工作给予充分肯定和高度评价,对做好2009年和今后一个时期的水利工作提出了“四个进一步”和“四个新”的明确要求,并对广大水利干部职工寄予殷切希望。水利部部长陈雷作工作报告。水利部副部长鄂竟平作会议总结,中纪委驻水利部纪检组组长董力,水利部副部长矫勇、胡四一分别就相关工作提出明确要求。
