The increase in the elderly population is a worldwide problem. With the decline of the fertility rate and mortality of the population and the increase of average life expectancy, the proportion of the elderly in the world’s population has been increasing year by year, and population aging has become an inevitable trend. In 1980, the proportion of the elderly over the age of 65 in all nationalities was 16% in Sweden and East Germany and 15% in Italy and West Germany. In 1982, China accounted for 13.1% of the population over the age of 50. It has been estimated that at the current rate of 2% of the natural population growth each year, by the year 2000, the world’s population will be 7.4 billion and the number of elderly people will reach 1 billion. Faced with such an elderly world, their sexual life issues are increasingly valued by all sectors of society. We must do useful work for the rights of the elderly. At least everyone will face or experience this problem.
