In the latest research, Jiang Lubin, a research group of Pasteur Institute, Shanghai Institute of Chinese Materia Medica, first discovered the epigenetic molecular mechanism of immune escape of Plasmodium falciparum in humans and provided the experimental basis for the development of a new malaria vaccine. Recently, related research results published online in the “Nature” magazine. In the meantime, in response to the findings, the journal also discussed the “Malaria Forum”. Dr. Jerry Workman from the Stowers Institute of Medicine in the United States and Dr. Mats Wahlgren from Caroline Institute in Sweden pointed out that “the study is of scientific significance to people in understanding gene regulation of eukaryotes and the development of malaria vaccine.” .
