Our hospital from January 1990 to October 1996 admitted to severe oral and maxillofacial trauma in 26 cases, the emergency treatment and anesthesia are reported as follows: 1 Clinical data 1.1 General The group of 26 patients, 17 males and 9 females Cases; age 11 to 72 years old, 18 ~ 4O years in 21 cases. Cause of injury: motorcycle injury in 9 cases, car injury in 13 cases, blast injury in 4 cases. Injury Category: maxillary or zygomatic comminuted fracture and nasal fracture in 13 cases, up and down
