本文叙述根据直接测量气缸充量的角动量以确定内燃机中涡流的一种新方法。规定了相应的涡流参数,并且论述了它与常规涡流参数的关系。 发动机试验证明:涡流参数是控制直接喷射式柴油机燃烧的气流特性。用带有活动进气道的气缸盖和带有两个涡流进气道的气缸盖作为例证论述了对燃烧系统涡流的最佳调整。本文说明了这种新方法在理论上和实用上都是有利的。
This paper describes a new method based on the direct measurement of angular momentum of a cylinder charge to determine eddy currents in an internal combustion engine. The corresponding eddy current parameters are defined, and its relationship with the conventional eddy current parameters is discussed. Engine tests show that the swirl parameters govern the flow characteristics of a direct injection diesel engine. The optimal adjustment of the combustion system swirl is discussed with an example of a cylinder head with a movable intake and a cylinder head with two swirl intakes. This article shows that this new method is both theoretically and practically beneficial.
