为了解决钼矿钻探某些地段岩矿心采取困难,与三队共同研制出DPZ-1型底喷抓簧式金刚石单动双管。经现场试验,初步达到设计要求。该钼矿属于古老的震旦纪亚蓟系,原系各种片岩经燕山期构造运动,母岩侵入变质为石英岩,各种角岩,矽卡岩等,形成以钼矿为主的大型多金属矿床。地层是十分复杂的,岩石坚硬(7级以上)破碎,孔壁坍塌掉块漏水。给钻探施工带来极大的困难,特别是岩矿心采取更为困难。过去大口径施工的钻孔大部分不能利用,该队自采用小口径金刚石钻进方法后,情况大有好转,大部分地层岩矿心采取率达到要求。
