本文力图按照这样的逻辑来论证中西艺术的异同:即中西艺术精神的建立,都是基于对宇宙自然的认识。由于对宇宙自然的认识所形成的世界观、宇宙观而转向对人的认识与觉醒。但是,在对自然和人的认识上,两者却体现了极大的差异。中国传统的宇宙观,其精髓在于对生命的认识,对自由的认识,从而启悟了中国人的人生现,进而奠定和形成了中国人的艺术观,以强调对人的内在生命与精神的揭示为艺术表现的价值,如此贯穿着中国古典艺术发展的全部历史。而在西方的传统宇宙观中,则是以实证的态度来揭示宇宙的本源,从而发展和创立了形式逻辑的认识方法。由毕达格拉斯的万物之源是“数”这一宇宙认识论,极大地启悟了西方人在对人自身品评上对外在形式的探求从而奠定了西方艺术的精神,贯穿了西方艺术发展的全过程。当然西方现代艺术是以新的,反传统的认识为其转化的本质的。对此本文不准备做进一步探讨。
This article attempts to demonstrate the similarities and differences between Chinese and Western art in accordance with the logic that the establishment of artistic spirit in both China and the West is based on the understanding of the nature of the universe.
