党的八届十中全会公报,在党的整个思想工作中,具有划时代的意义。它规定了从资本主义过渡到共产主义的整个历史时期的阶级斗争任务。在国际方面,规定了无产阶级和劳动人民反对帝国主义、各国反动派和现代修正主义的斗争任务,在国内方面,也规定了社会主义建设时期的阶级斗争任务。公报指出国内仍然存在着没有改造好的地主分子、富农分子、资产阶级右派分子以及残余的反革命分子;同时,社会上还存在着资产阶级的影响和旧社会的习惯势力,存在着一部分小生产者的自发的资本主义倾向。因此,阶级斗争是不可避免的。对主要是担负着思想斗争任务的新闻工作者来说,应该从思想上深刻地认识到党的八届十中全会公报在理论上、政治上、思想上以及对我们的工作上的巨大指导意义。作为一个新闻工作者,还应该考虑到,报纸和阶级斗争的关系问题。学习公报就是要明确地认识由资本主义过渡到共产主义的整个历史时期无产阶级报纸的方向问题。
