研究表明 ,无论是在以S系 ,还是以厚栓型 (PDR54 )为中间砧的嫁接树中 ,其中间砧茎段当年生木质部导管的管腔面积、密度一般都介于同株嫁接树的基砧茎段和接穗茎段之间。在以S5、S2 为中间砧的嫁接树中 ,中间砧茎段的枝皮与基砧和接穗相比 ,具有显著较高的生长素氧化酶活性 ,而在以PDR54 为中间砧的嫁接树中 ,中间砧茎段枝皮的酶活性并不高于基砧和接穗茎段 ,这说明两类梨树矮化中间砧拥有不同的致矮机理。
