1983年我栽种了10株红薯,七月份薯蔓盖严了地面,生长旺盛。于是我就把所有的顶尖都摘去一寸多,此后,每隔10—15天就摘一次,连续摘心七、八次。摘心的同时把蔓提一提,不让蔓扎根。这是把营养生长转化为生殖生长的一种措施。10月20日收刨时,共收获鲜薯66.5斤,最多的一株达11斤,最少的也有3斤。
In 1983 I planted 10 sweet potatoes, jujube vineyards in July covered the ground, vigorous growth. So I took all the top off an inch more, since then, every 10-15 days to pick once, continuous topping seven or eight times. Topping at the same time mentioning the vine, not to take root. This is a measure of converting vegetative growth into reproductive growth. October 20 when the plane is collected, a total of 66.5 pounds of fresh harvested, up to a strain of 11 pounds, there are at least 3 pounds.
