A detailed study of aftershock sequences of seven mid-source and deep-source earthquakes occurring in the Aleutian Islands, Japan, Pamir-Hindu Kush (PHK), Tonga and Bolivia was conducted. In each series we measured the p-value and goodness-of-fit of the modified Otsuka law (MOL). In all sequences, we found that there is a time interval in accordance with the Otsu law attenuation with c≡0 or c as variables. The values of p in the sequences of two main shocks are deep-seated earthquakes are slightly larger than that of the source earthquakes. Although well-observed sequences of mid-source and deep-source aftershocks are rare, both the measured values, or the decay behavior of the entire sequence, are not significantly different from the observed shallow-earthquakes.
