《历史学专业英语》是培养历史学专业本科生国际化专业视野、贯彻外语教学“不断线”的重要课程,以使学生成为具有坚实的史学专业基础和专业外语能力的复合型人才为教学目标。文章在对课程改革研究现状进行全面梳理基础上,针对该课程课堂教学中存在的问题,运用ESP视角对课程教学的结构、特征等进行分析,明确教学改革的思路、过程和步骤,为该课程教学改革实践提供了操作指南。
“History of Professional English” is an important course for cultivating undergraduates majoring in internationalization of history and carrying out foreign language teaching so as to enable students to become complex talents with a solid historical foundation and professional foreign language ability teaching objectives. Based on a comprehensive review of the present situation of curriculum reform, the paper analyzes the structure, characteristics and so on of the curriculum teaching from the perspective of ESP in view of the existing problems in the classroom teaching. This paper clarifies the train of thought, process and steps of teaching reform. Teaching reform practice provides a guide to operation.
