今年已84岁的周永开,精神矍铄,声音洪亮。1991年,任职四川达州市纪委书记的周永开离休后,常常告诫自己:“人从岗位上退了下来,但党性不能退,不当领导干部,还是共产党员,总得找点儿事做,也算是为社会发些余热。”满怀对红色老区的眷恋,满怀对党和人民的无限忠诚与深情,他始终实践着这句朴实的话语,受到了广大干部群众的赞誉。
