新华社北京10月16日电我国现代著名文学家、全国政协委员、九三学社中央委员、中国社会科学院文学研究所研究员俞平伯先生,于1990年10月15日12点55分在北京病逝,终年91岁。俞平伯先生原名铭衡,祖籍浙江省德清县。1919年毕业于北京大学,先后在浙江第一师范学校、上海大学、北京外国语学校、燕京大学、北平大学女子文理学院、北京大学、清华大学、中国大学等院校任教。曾参加或筹办“新潮社”、“文学研究会”、“语丝社”等文学团体,参加过革命秘密组织“中国革命民主同盟”以及九三学社。解放后,俞平伯先生曾任北大教授、校务委员、首届全国文联委员、民间文艺研究会理事,是第一、二、三届全国人大代表。俞平伯先生积极参加五四新文化运动和进步
Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, October 16: Yu Pingbo, a famous member of the CPPCC National Committee and a member of the CPPCC National Committee and the 1993 researcher of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, died in Beijing at 12:55 on October 15, 1990 and was 91 years old . Mr. Yu Pingbo formerly known as Ming Heng, ancestral home in Deqing County, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from Peking University in 1919 and taught in First Normal School of Zhejiang Province, Shanghai University, Beijing Foreign Languages School, Yenching University, Peking University Women and Arts and Sciences, Peking University, Tsinghua University and China University. He participated in or organized literary groups such as New Trend Society, Literature Research Society and Yu Si Si Society, participated in revolutionary secret organizations, China Revolutionary Democratic League and Jiu San Society. After the liberation, Mr. Yu Pingbo served as a professor at Peking University, a member of the school committee, the first member of the National Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a director of the Folk Literature and Research Society, and the first, second and third NPC deputies.
