When I was young, I had heard such a story: In the past, there was a child who was particularly lazy, with his hand stretched out, his mouth open, and every day he lay on the kang, moving too lazy to move. Once, the mother of the child had to go to her parents’ house for a few days. Before she left, she baked a big pancake and emptied the middle to the neck of her child. Mother thought, this cake enough for children to eat seven or eight days, waiting for her back, the child will not starve to death because of lazy. Surprisingly, after the mother came back from her parents, the child was still starving to death. Because the child ate only enough mouth pie, elsewhere he was too lazy to turn, did not eat. This story is a bit exaggerated, but it shows a truth that laziness can make people dependent on other people’s bad habits and lose their ability to survive.
