绵羊痘是由绵羊痘病毒引起绵羊最为常见的一种急性热性接触性传染病,也是羊痘中危害最为严重的一种。临床上的典型特征为皮肤和黏膜出现明显的痘疹,又俗称“羊天花”~([1])。世界动物卫生组织(OIE)将此病列为A类动物疫病,而我国一直将其作为必须法定通报的一类动物传染病。羔羊和青年羊比成年羊易感,感染率和致死率也较高。1病原体绵羊痘病毒属于痘病毒科山羊痘病毒属的成员。病毒颗粒呈砖形或椭圆形,比一般动物传染病的病毒
Sheep pox is the most common form of acute thermal contagious disease caused by sheep poxvirus and the most serious one in sheep pox.
