形态学家除了描述各种形态结构及其变化外,还注意到它们在数量上的变化,由于数学、电子计算机及有关学科的发展,已经有可能对细胞形态的变化进行定量的分析。形态计量学(morphmetry)就是通过大量的二维图象上面积、长度、数目等测量和计算,最后得出三维结构参数。目前,已有许多文章对形态计量学方法及应用有详细的描述。现仅就运动训练后心肌及骨骼肌超微结构的改变,特别是形态计量学的研究结果做一文献综述。
