A practical example is given to illustrate the energy saving effect of the transformation of hydraulic couplings for high inertia hard start mechanical applications. Briefly described the transmission principle and function of the fluid coupling. It is pointed out that applying hydraulic transmission is the best solution to the difficult problem of starting with large inertia.
